Studio Quilts
Some quilts are made without a designated home.
These are quilts I make in the quiet spaces between commissions—using leftover fabrics, exploring a new technique, or following a design that speaks beauty to me. Sometimes they are practice, sometimes play, always prayer.

The Avila Quilt - large throw

Pairs beautifully with a vase of pink tulips :)
Quilted scrollwork over top adds to the soft and flowing feel.
Best way to enjoy a cup of coffee (or mug of hot chocolate)!
The back of this quilt is mostly a super soft peppered cotton, along with a strip of extra blocks.
Also on the back: hand embroidered "Rejoice in hope".

The quilting pantograph is called Sweater Weather and looks like a cable knit, adding the the "knitted" feel of the design.
